April is Poetry Month

I like chants. You can play on words. Remember High School? I live in San Francisco, but lately I’ve had one foot in Half Moon Bay…I love the place. Here’s a new chant for Earth Day and Poetry Month:

Hey, hey!

Waddaya say?

Celebrate Earth Day

In Half Moon Bay!

Rah rah ree

Kick ‘em in the knee!

Rah rah razz

Kick em in the other knee!

Gimme a B

Gimme a B

Gimme a B

Gimme another B

What’s that spell?

Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

Promise her the moon, but give her Half Moon Bay! Rinse and repeat

anyway, that’s what I liked most about high school…chants and cheers! See you in Half Moon Bay on Earth Day!

Whan that Aprill, with his shoures soote starts the Canterbury Tales. April is the cruelest month…Is the opening line of Eliot’s poem The Waste Land. in like a lion, thanks to the month of March, here’s to those who make things possible!
